A proprietary blend of six medicinal mushroom mycelium extracts, standardised to a minimum of 40% Alpha-Glucans — a class of polysaccharides shown to powerfully activate and modulate the immune system, particularly Natural Killer (NK) cells.

What Makes Alpha-Glucans Special?

Most mushroom supplements highlight Beta-Glucans as a marker of potency — and for good reason. But Alpha-Glucans offer a distinct advantage: their molecular weight is approximately 5,000 Daltons, compared to Beta-Glucans at around 200,000 Daltons. This dramatically smaller particle size leads to significantly greater absorption and immune activation.

The Science: NK Cell Activation

Natural Killer (NK) cells are the body’s first line of immune defence — surveilling for pathogens and acting without needing antibodies to detect a threat. Studies have shown Alpha-Glucans can:

• Increase NK cell activity by up to 300% within 2 weeks at a regular dose (3g daily)
• Increase NK cell activity by up to 800% within 3 months at an intensive dose (6g daily)
